Tallahassee, FL. — Before many of the Leon County students returned to their classrooms for the 2014-2015 school year, representatives of Students Working Against Tobacco (SWAT) participated in the 2014 Official Back to School Community Experience at the North Florida Fairgrounds on Saturday, Aug. 16.
Hundreds of people attended the event, which included free hairstyles, food, school supplies, entertainment and information. One of the various informational tables at the event was of course ─SWAT! During the event, several attendees signed up for SWAT membership. Also, attendees were able to learn more about the youth organization and the negative impacts of tobacco.
